Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Mona Hirose is a bilingual Realtor fluent in English and Japanese. With an academic background in Biology and Psychology, she brings an analytical and person-centered approach to real estate, along with an appreciation for how homes and communities shape the way we live.
Mona believes being a Realtor is about more than facilitating a transaction. It is about understanding what matters to each client and helping them make informed decisions with confidence. She values honesty, transparency, and personal attention, while drawing on her local knowledge and understanding of the market to provide thoughtful guidance.
Mona is committed to continually learning and staying informed so she can provide the best possible service to her clients. Whether helping someone purchase their first home, sell a property, or explore an investment, she takes the time to understand their goals and tailor her approach to their individual needs.

Medicine, Community & Travel

When Mona is not working as a Realtor, she is a pre-medical student pursuing a career in medicine. She is drawn to medicine because of its depth and breadth of knowledge and the opportunity to provide thoughtful, holistic care to others. Her interests include mental health and supporting youth, and she previously worked as a school counselor at a local elementary school. She looks forward to continuing to serve families through volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House hospitality carts, providing resources and support to families receiving care at the hospital.
Outside of work and school, Mona enjoys traveling, cooking, and exploring new places. She especially enjoys being in nature, seeing wildlife, and trying local cuisines. On her most recent trip to Anchorage, Alaska, she visited Portage Glacier and the Alaska Native Heritage Center and tried reindeer sausage for the first time! Mona enjoys learning, meeting people from different backgrounds, and discovering new perspectives.
