Waikiki, Hawaii Sees Boost in Visitors

Hawaii is seeing a boost in tourism thanks to spring break travelers, where 28,000 visititors arrived this past Saturday.  That's nearly the average number of 30,000 in pre-pandemic arrivals.

Officials are seeing an increase in complaints of visitors not wearing masks, where Hawaii has a mask mandate in place for both indoor and outdoor.

On the other side, many are happy to see the beaches of Waikiki packed and businesses bustling again as a sign of economic recovery for the islands.
