Hawaii Travel & Tourism Update

Travel for Hawaii residents will become easier beginning on June 15th.  Those who have been vaccinated in Hawaii are now eligible to travel into the state without pre-testing prior to arrival.  Since the rule applies to those who have received their vaccination in Hawaii, this mostly benefits state residents.

In addition, those taveling between inter-island will no longer need to quarantine at either destination on June 15th.

The state continues to open up and tourism numbers are approaching pre-pandemic normalcy. Vaccination rates are nearing 55% in Hawaii, and officials are feeling more comfortable lifting restrictions.
