Oahu Enters Tier 5 of Re-Opening Strategy

On Thursday, Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi annoucned that the state will be entering Tier 5 of its re-opening strategy, effective immediately.  This allows for gatherings of up to 25 people indoors, and groups of 75 for outdoor events.

Restaurants and bars now also have the option to open up at 100% capacity, if they choose to screen patrons for proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.

As the state continues to open back up, the tourism industry returns to full-swing on Oahu, as near-record visitor numbers flock to attractions such as Diamond Head Crater and Hanauma Bay.
