Factors include infrastructure, culture, and health care as a part of the 30-plus assessments made in its rankings. Despite high scores in stability, education, and culture, living in paradise comes at a cost, as Honolulu is consistently ranked as one of the most expensive places to live.
Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Seattle, and Washington D.C. round out the top five cities in the rankings. Honolulu reprises its role atop the list from the previous year.
