Hawaii Tourism Rebound Slowly Turning Corner

As COVID-19 numbers in Hawaii continue to drop and remain low compared to the rest of the nation, some experts believe that may be a fueling force behind our islands tourism recovery in the coming months.

Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) reports that numbers for January 2021 are still 80% below that of January 2020.

Officials are cautious about increased tourism, while looking for ways to bring in visitors safely with travel bubble and pre-testing programs.
