Caldwell Offers Grants to Small Businesses
05/13/2020Mayor Caldwell has announced a plan for funding allocating $25 million in federal funding directed at very small Honolulu businesses. To qualify, these businesses must have less than 30 employees or an annual gross income of under $1 million, and a physical commercial address.
Excluded from essential business operations during the COVID-19 lockdown is many of Honolulu's small businesses, who continue to suffer from being shuttered.
Funding for the program is being drawn from the Federal Coronavirus Aid package.
